今日は日差しが強かったので、人生で初めて帽子を買った。
The sun was strong today,so I bought a hat for the first time in my life.
帽子は自分に似合わないと思っているので、これまでに一度も自分で購入したことはない。

しかし最近、お酒を飲みすぎているからか、直射日光を浴びると頭が痛くなるようになってしまった。

帽子を買うのははじめてで、正直どこに行けば好みの帽子が見つかるか皆目検討もつかなかったので、とりあえず近所の帽子専門店に行った。

普段着る服装はワンピースなど女の子らしいものが多いので、かわいらしいデザインの帽子が欲しくて、全方位につばがついている帽子を買おうと思っていたが、それだと持ち歩くときにかさ張りそうなので、結局キャップタイプの帽子を選んだ。

それから、一度帰宅した後に盆栽の手入れ方法を聞きに盆栽専門店に行った。

いまは旭山桜という品種の桜の盆栽を育てている。

その花が咲き終わったので、花殻を摘む作業のやり方を、現物を持っていって教えてもらった。

徒歩圏内に、盆栽についていつでも相談できるお店があるのはとても幸運なことだと思う。

For dinner, I made Khao Man Gai at my husband's request.
市販のカオマンガイ用調味料は使わなかったが、今まででいちばんおいしく作ることができた。
I didn't use any commercially available seasoning for Khao Man Gai, but I was able to make it the most delicious so far.
鶏モモ肉と鶏ムネ肉の両方を入れて作ってみて、カオマンガイには鶏ムネ肉のほうが合うと感じたので、次回カオマンガイをつくるときは、鶏ムネ肉で作ろうと思う。
I tried making it with both chicken thigh meat and chicken breast meat,,
And I felt that chicken breast meat was more suitable for Khao Man Gai.
So the next time I make Khao Man Gai, I will make it with chicken breast meat.
